Charles Green is Moove It's marketing manager. With 15 years of experience in the technology services industry, he brings a mixture of technology, business, and marketing expertise to Moove It.

We’re delighted to announce that the organization Great Place to Work (GPTW) has recognized Moove It as one of the best places to work for Millennials. The anonymous survey covered hundreds of thousands of employees at both large and small businesses.

This award follows on from previous recognitions that we’ve received from GPTW, going back several years.

We’re proud of this external recognition, as it provides validation of our efforts to create a model focused on high performance and continuous learning, while also being a fun and enjoyable place to work – a place where individuals can build long-lasting relationships that form the basis for their careers.

How we do it

While the award uses the term “millennials”, we’re also focused on the younger “generation Z” (those born after 1997) and ensuring that these individuals start their careers in the strongest possible manner.

For example, our “Dynamic Onboarding” model means everyone who joins us is assigned an initial mentor to help them settle in, before then also being assigned a specific technical mentor to help them with their specific career path. We then focus on aligning their goals and their career objectives to training initiatives.

Some of our recent training initiatives have focused on highly technical topics, to how best to provide constructive feedback in performance reviews. We’re also now running Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions with experts in different fields – this week for example, we’ll be hearing from some of our tech architects.

Reviewing some of the anonymous responses from the survey, we can also see how our employees appreciate many aspects of life at Moove It – from having flexibility as to their working hours, the meaning they derive from working on challenging projects, to our culture and sense of teamwork.

What our Millennials think about working at Moove It

While reviewing our survey results provides one perspective of what it’s like to work at Moove It, nothing beats the testimonials of people working here. You can read many of these reviews on Glassdoor, but here are a couple of highlights:

“I’ve been working at Moove It since June 2021, starting as a junior developer. At the time, I had little knowledge about iOS but was really keen to learn. Moove It opened its doors to me, and enabled me to train myself to become part of a client’s team just a few months after joining the company.”

Rodrigo Camargo, Developer

“I started working at Moove It in 2018 in the administration area. Over time I’ve faced different challenges, but also many opportunities – so much so that today I split my time between the Design Studio, and the marketing and communication team. I consider that beyond being a place to work, Moove It is a great family and I am very grateful to be part of it.”

Magdalena Nobre, Marketing and Design Specialist
